jzaksoulcards -Note Cards
We are delighted to annnounce the creation of jzaksoulcards. These top quality note cards feature the photography of award-winning photographer-filmmaker, John C. Zak. They will be available for sale on www.supremeswan.com.
Jzaksoulcards provide a simple opportunity to connect with friends, colleagues, and loved ones in a meaningful way that cannot be equalled by sending an e mail or a text message. Often, personal notes are cherished for years or lifetimes and a word of kindness and encouragement can have a profound effect. A gentleman recently published a story about the difficulties he was facing in his personal and professional life. Rather than remain dejected, he chose to write notes and send them to people who had affected his life in a positive way. Just a few sentences of genuine expression created a cascade of healing and transformation that uplifted his life and the lives of those in his circle.
Another meaningful way to inspire change in one's life is to write simple affirmations on cards and keep them in a personal or sacred space, perhaps a beautiful, decorated box, and read them in quiet moments of introspection and meditation. The great guru, Paramahansa Yogananda, wrote extensively on this topic, explaining that the power of thought brings about changes in the material world. He recommended creating affirmations and repeating them often. It works. Jzaksoulcards are excellent for this purpose, and are gentle reminders of the natural beauty that surrounds us, no matter what our current circumstances or challenges. ZUMA SUNSET- MA'S MAHASAMADHI
This image was photographed at sunset on November 30, 2010 at Zuma Beach, California. Brilliant colors paint the sky as seagulls and pelicans compete for fish in the evening glow.
This is one of my favorite places to write, read, and meditate at Descanso Gardens in La Canada, California.
